2026 Metro Fire Chiefs Conference – Milwaukee, Wisconsin (June 7–11, 2026)
The 2026 Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Conference, hosted by the Milwaukee Fire Department, will convene fire service leaders from North America and around the world to address the strategic, operational, and policy challenges shaping the future of global fire and emergency services.

- Protecting firefighter health through evidence-based policy, behavioral health innovation, and contamination risk mitigation.
- Positioning Metro as a global convener and ensuring international interoperability.
- Engaging in high-level building policy debates that balance housing development pressures with fire and life safety standards.
